I will be posting on books. Old, new, but mostly old books which hopefully will hone my review skills, as well as entertain the internets.
Any book suggestions?

I can recommend some admittedly "guy" books--all of which I have found an incredible cure for temporary depression because they show people surviving against all odds:
1) Endurance: Shackleon's Incredile Voyage by Afred Lansing
2) In the Land of White Death by Valerian Albanov
3) Adrift by Steven Callahan
Also of interest is Jacques Cousteau's brillianty written (likely ghost-written) The Silent World.
